What's New in SVN 1.6

I'd like to give a talk on what's new in Subversion 1.6 at SVN Community Day as part of SCALE on Feb. 20. Salient points will include:

  • Subversion 1.6 features
    • Tree conflict handling
    • Externals definitions improvements
    • Commandline syntax improvements
    • Password/passphrase caching
    • svnserve logging
    • filesystem storage improvements
  • Subversion 1.7 and beyond
    • continued tree conflict work
    • working copy library improvements
  • General plug for Subversion and an appeal for people to test, debug and aid
    • development of it.

I mentioned this privately to John Mark, but this is pretty much a rehash of Mike Pilato's presentation at ?SubConf 2008.

Let me know what you think.
